We Care About the Future
Protecting the environment is important to us.

TRSA Clean Green Certification
CVR is TRSA Clean Green certified. TRSA Clean Green Certification recognizes companies that demonstrate responsible leadership in sustainability and conservation to protect the environment. The program acknowledges a textile service company’s continuing commitments to improving efficiencies in water and energy conservation and adoption of best management practices for reusing, reclaiming and recycling resources.
CVR Uniforms participates in voluntary environmental reporting to help the government better understand our industry.
In return, they help us make cleaner and greener decisions for our environment.
INDUSTRY-WIDE RESULTS
LaundryESP® has documented our industry’s capabilities in addressing evolving issues and priorities related to pollution prevention and resource conservation. As a whole, since 1997 we have had a major reduction in our carbon footprint. We avoided 1.476 billion pounds of emissions in 2009, which is the equivalent of taking 134,000 typical cars off the road or planting about 30 million trees
Increased Productivity Facilitates Efficiencies
Textile services facilities conserve resources better than ever in part because of washing, drying, wrinkle removal and material handling technologies that enable us to do our job more efficiently.
Less Energy Needed Per Pound
Greater energy efficiencies in laundry processes have been largely responsible for our decreased carbon footprint.
Water Consumption Reflects Conservation Practices
The volume of water that textile services operations use to launder a pound of textiles is one of the strongest indicators of our green impact.
